Benzinga Names Former William Blair, SAC Trader Laverde Director of Content
Laverde brings a trader's perspective to management of Benzinga's breaking news content.
Laverde was previously a portfolio manager at Kade Capital Group in New York, prior to which he spent almost seven years as a senior sales trader at William Blair & Co.
Before that, he spent a further seven years as a sector trader at SAC Capital, and two years as a trader at First New York Securities. He reports to Benzinga chief executive Jason Raznick.
