Datawatch Steps Up Automation in Managed Analytics Platform

The move is designed to make it easier for analysts and other users to automate data preparation and analytics.

The platform is the culmination of a two-year development effort to create a scalable platform to make it "as simple and easy as possible to go from raw data to visual insights," after the vendor observed that users spent the majority of their time preparing rather than analyzing data, says Datawatch chief marketing officer Dan Potter.

Originally launched in March, the MAP platform combines data preparation tools from Datawatch--such as data cleaning and enrichment functions--with visualization
