NYSE Outlines XDP Feed Migration Roadmap
The NYSE and NYSE MKT BBO feeds, which provide best bid and offer data on NYSE and the NYSE MKT equities market for small-cap companies (formally known as Amex), were previously delivered using the exchange’s PDP (Proprietary Data Products) binary feed format.
However, the XDP feed is more compact, provides microsecond as opposed to millisecond timestamps, and will enable NYSE customers to “incorporate data into their firms… utilizing the same message types, formats, and delivery mechanisms,”
