Bloomberg Touts New Toronto Ticker

Bloomberg's new ticker plant, located in a datacenter in Markham, outside Toronto, collects and normalizes equities, futures and options data from domestic marketplaces, then delivers it to desktop and server applications via the vendor's B-Pipe consolidated datafeed.

"Canada is a strategic market for Bloomberg, and the ticker plant is one of our many initiatives to continue to improve trading efficiencies for our global market data customers," says Bloomberg's head of real-time market data
