Hardware Failure Hits Nasdaq Options Data, Trading

According to a Nasdaq spokesperson, the halt was caused by the failover of a hardware component for processing inbound OPRA quote data from other US options exchanges.

The issue began at 11:42am, and the exchange was able to reopen trading in the affected symbols at 12:00pm.

Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
