Thomson Reuters Adds Plain English Search to Eikon

Thomson Reuters has extended the natural language search functionality available on its Eikon data desktop platform, and added a new commodities analytics tool, dubbed Power Curve, in the latest upgrades to version 3.0 of the terminal.

The new question-based search functionality, which builds on the natural language search that  the vendor first launched in January (IMD, Jan. 29, 2013), will enable equity traders and analysts to search the data and analytics available in the terminal using
