UTP Feeds Increase Bandwidth, Change Channels

Nasdaq has announced that the UTP Operating Committee will increase bandwidth allocations for the consolidated UTP Quotation Data Feed (UQDF) by around 80 percent next February, bringing bandwidth to 175 megabits per second, able to support around 300,000 messages per second, and is advising subscribers and network providers to upgrade their data circuits by Feb. 6 next year.

Separately, the UTP securities information processor last week re-allocated securities symbols on the UQDF and UTP Trade
