Bureau van Dijk Taps BCMS for China Data

Company data provider Bureau van Dijk Electronic Publishing (BvDEP) last week unveiled China Connect, a database of transaction histories and corporate overviews for privately-held Chinese companies, targeted at corporate advisers and investment bankers looking to identify potential acquisition targets and investment opportunities in Chinese companies.

The vendor is sourcing the content from mergers and acquisitions advisory firm BCMS International, which first set up a presence in China in 2009
