Options IT Signs LSE Co-Lo Client; Fixnetix Preps Space, Adds BATS

Managed low-latency infrastructure provider Options IT will this week announce it has signed its first high-frequency trading client for its Pipe Velocity managed infrastructure service, deployed within the London Stock Exchange's co-location facility, while low-latency data and trading infrastructure vendor Fixnetix is preparing its own co-location service in the center, which the exchange only opened to vendors last week (IMD, Oct. 18).
