Nasdaq, Xignite Bolster On-Demand Data Portal Ahead of Launch
Nasdaq OMX will unveil its new, on-demand market data portal developed with Web Services data vendor Xignite, this Friday, Oct. 15. The portal will provide historical Level 1 data from US equity markets, as well as preconfigured queries and analytics designed to make it easier and cheaper for users to obtain the data they want, officials say.
Nasdaq announced the service, dubbed Data-On-Demand, earlier this year to provide millisecond-level historical best-bid-and-offer and last sale data
