Jefferies Mulls Move from SQL Server

NEW YORK—Jefferies and Co. is beta-testing a relational database management system from Ants Software as it plots its migration from an installation of the Microsoft SQL Server database, officials tell DWT.
The Microsoft database engine is having scalability challenges as the firm faces increasing volumes in its electronic order flow. Microsoft officials were unable to respond to requests for comment by press time.
