After two years of development (TST, November 23, 1987), Quotron Systems Inc. is getting ready to put its foreign exchange dealing system into beta test.

A simulation of the hush-hush system, called FX Trader, was shown last week to selected banks at the ACI Forex 89 show in Lisbon. While the demos were off-limits to the press and Quotron declined comment, TST got a peek.

Using a DECnet architecture, FX Trader will go into initial beta test this fall at 15 banks in New York, London and Tokyo
