The latest spate of quarterly earnings brings more good news. Deutsche Börse, Edgar Online, HyperFeed Technologies and GL Trade—a disparate mix of market data providers—all reported strong first quarters (see Scrolling News). All but Deutsche Börse saw double-digit growth, and the exchange wasn’t far behind with a nine percent increase in revenues from its market data & analytics group.
So, is the market finally back? Yes and no. Yes, firms are spending, new products are attracting more and more
