Consultants Help Lehman Brothers to Rationalize Market Data

LONDON--Trading Floor Partners’ (TFP) market data consultants helped Lehman Brothers save over $10 million a year by rationalizing its market data supplies and eliminating two of them.

Banks are in the grips of merger mania--trying to achieve economies of scale to make profit margins grow--and consultants say that rationalizing market data is one of the areas that can save a newly merged trading floor the most money.
