Deutsche Börse Strips Down CEF

Deutsche Börse is planning to launch a "stripped-down" version of its Consolidated Exchange Feed later this year in order to capitalize on demand for direct feeds for algorithmic trading.

The new feed will enable clients to specify at a more granular level what data they want to receive. Customers will be able to electronically request data on the fly on an instrument-by-instrument basis, although it hasn’t yet been determined exactly how this will work.
