Exchanges Report Successful Q3

The latest results from four exchanges show a more positive market.

The New York Stock Exchange’s revenue from data processing declined by 17.8 percent compared to Q3 2004, but overall revenue rose slightly, by 2.5 percent to $277.5 million. Compared to the second quarter of 2005, data processing fees decreased by 7.7 percent to $44.1 million.

The exchange says the decline in data processing fees is due to decreased third-party usage of services provided by SIAC.
