Barclays Capital Plans To Automate Currenex Price Feeds With API

LONDON--Barclays Capital is developing an application program interface to automate the process of quoting foreign exchange prices on online multi-bank trading site Currenex.

The interface, which will link Currenex and Barclays’ own currency trading system, Barcap Trader, will enable Barclays Capital to provide live prices automatically as they are requested from Currenex users.

At the moment, brokers at Barclays Capital enter the bank’s prices manually on Currenex’s site in response to price
