Interfax Aims to SPARK Western Interest in Russian Company Data

Russian information provider Interfax Group is launching its SPARK (the Russian acronym for System of Professional Analysis of Markets and Companies) database of company information to potential users in Western Europe, officials say.

Eugene Kasevin, manager of London-based Interfax Europe, says a key market will be private equity funds that need to carry out due diligence and examine possible investments in the region.
