CBSX to "Piggyback" on CBOE Data Net

The CBOE Stock Exchange is to utilize the existing infrastructure of its parent the Chicago Board Options Exchange to distribute market data rather than build a separate infrastructure for equities data, officials tell Inside Market Data.

This ability to use existing technology resources will contribute to a quoting rebate scheme designed to promote more competitive quoting that will make CBSX a more attractive execution venue, officials say.
