Looking Beyond Market Data in the Ticker Plant Market

HyperFeed Technologies was one of the first vendors to enter the ticker plant market, and it bolstered its position in the market when it won the exclusive license to Telerate's Active8 and TRS products after the data vendor was acquired by Reuters (IMD, May 30, 2005). Since then, HyperFeed has renamed the products HMDP and OCC and this year announced two clients for the products (IMD, Feb. 27; May 22). In June it announced plans to merge with St. Louis-based technology provider Exegy and launch
