NYSE Seeks Trade Data Boost with TRF

The New York Stock Exchange plans to launch a trade reporting facility (TRF) next month for reporting of trades in listed stocks within the National Market System executed between brokers off-exchange in the OTC market.

Lou Pastina, executive vice president of market development and project manager for NYSE's Hybrid Market, whose role includes NYSE's market operations and competitive operations groups, says the move will allow the exchange to provide a full menu of services to customers
