Nasdaq Updates Reporting Interfaces

Nasdaq has updated the programming specification for its trade reporting computer-to-computer interface (CTCI) as a result of Reg NMS, to support new values within the ACT (Automated Confirm Transaction) system, and to enable trade reporting to other Nasdaq systems, such as the NASD/Nasdaq Trade Reporting Facility. Testing of the new message formats will begin on Jan. 20, ahead of live production on Feb. 5, and the exchange will continue to support the old
