Mercury Asset Management is no more. Merrill Lynch is to re-brand the asset management business it acquired two years ago under its global operating name of Merill Lynch Investment Managers. Merrill is conducting a re-branding of its asset management business worldwide, and MLIM will have some $550 billion of funds under management.
