Avelacom Opens Aussie PoP

The move is being driven by demand for connectivity to ASX from India and the Middle East.

The new PoP will deliver roundtrip latency between Sydney and London of 240.1 milliseconds; between Sydney and Mumbai of 137.3 milliseconds; between Sydney and Tel Aviv of 205 milliseconds; and between Sydney and Tokyo of 98.96 milliseconds.

Avelacom managing director Aleksey Larichev says that while the locations most commonly connecting to ASX are Chicago, Singapore, London, Tokyo, Hong Kong and New York, the move was driven by increasing demand from India and the Middle East.
