According to a new report published by Celent Communications, Buy side technology in Asia: Growth of trading technologies and electronic trading in the Asian Securities Markets, sustained and substantial growth of hedge fund and asset management markets across Asia - at least up until 2008 - does not necessarily translate into across-the-board business development opportunities for trading and risk vendors with established customer bases in North America and Europe.
