Markit Adds JPMorgan Integration Software for Syndicated Loans

Technology expected to be deployed in second half of 2016.

Markit is headquartered in London.

The solution will allow Markit's buy- and sell-side clients to integrate with major systems used in the syndicated loan market. Users are expected to have access to the software starting in the second half of 2016.

Scott Kostyra, managing direct at Markit, tells WatersTechnology the overall goal is help the loan market adopt straight-through processing (STP) initiatives, specifically Markit Clear, for loan trade settlement, and FpML, for messaging about loan assets.
