SmartStream opened its first office in the region in Dubai in 2008. The firms says it needs a new base of operations to meet regional customers' demands and support the growth in the region.

"As one of the key markets in the Middle East, a local presence in Saudi Arabia was a logical next step for SmartStream's expansion," says Pritesh Kotecha, senior vice president for Middle East, Turkey, South Asia and Africa, who will be heading the Riyadh office.
