A good illustration of this phenomenon comes from ConvergEx Group’s January 2012 launch of ConnEx, an outsourced platform that allows firms to manage their FIX connectivity in a more efficient and cost-effective way, an initiative that led to the New York-based firm winning this year’s best infrastructure initiative American Financial Technology Award.
