This year's SST Awards featured a number of new firms in the winners' circle and four new categories.

As with last year's SST Awards, there were a number of new faces in the winners' circle: Scivantage, CounterpartyLink, RiskVal, Perseus, Traiana, Green Key Technologies, Wolverine Execution Services, and the Australian Securities Exchange, the first time an Antipodean firm has won a Waters award. New categories for 2015 included the most promising start-up, the best swap execution facility (SEF), the best over-the-counter (OTC) initiative, and the best reporting initiative, while the two highest-profile awards ─ product of the year and technology provider of the year, announced on the evening of the awards ─ went to Quartet FS and Bloomberg, respectively.
