When it comes to crossing networks, the name of the game is liquidity, and once again Waters readers have voted Liquidnet—an appropriate name if ever there was one for such a category—the crossing network of choice. Liquidnet has a roster of 700 clients and in the first quarter of 2012 saw daily volumes swell by an average of 25 percent over the previous quarter. The firm, looking to boost liquidity and support best execution, now offers OTC Markets Group data and over-the-counter (OTC) equity
